Isabelle has been dancing with the Tasmanian Academy of Dance in Launceston since she was 7 years old. Now 15, Isabelle studies ballet and contemporary dance. Outside of dancing, Isabelle is very focused on her academic studies and has been awarded with academic achievement awards over consecutive years. She is also an accomplished athlete, having competed at state-level in athletics and orienteering. Isabelle has also represented her school in swimming and cross country.

Eva, at 13 years of age, is one of our youngest Company members. Eva has been training with Natasha Millwood-Green at Dance Academy 34 in Launceston since she was 3 years old. Eva studies ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, acrobats and Highland. Eva is also a participant in the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Program. When not dancing, Eva is dedicated to her academic studies, piano and creating intricate nail art designs.

Claudia, 15, has been dancing with Natasha Millwood-Green at Dance Academy 34 Launceston, since she was 4. She studies, ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and highland, making for a busy week! Outside of dancing Claudia is very committed to academic study and received academic awards in Science and Making Dance elective in 2015. She is looking forward to pursuing her dance goals in times to come.

Dayla began dance lessons when she was 4 years old. Now 12, Dayla is studying ballet, jazz and contemporary at Dance Pointe, Launceston. She also studies tap at DanceZone and highland at the Studio of National Dance. Dayla is a participant in The Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Programme. In her spare time Dayla enjoys keeping fit, taking singing lessons, watching and participating in musical theatre. Dayla is the recipient of the 2016 TYCBC Full Scholarship.

Campbell, 17, began dance lessons with House of Dance when he was 7 years old. Campbell studies ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop and is a member of the Elite Squad training program. In 2015, Campbell was awarded Dux of House of Dance. He was also the recipient of the Diana Large Memorial Award for Drama at the Hobart Eisteddfod in 2015 and 2016. Campbell is an active participant in the Tasmanian musical theatre scene, a Prefect at his School and an assistant dance teacher at House of Dance

Georgia,15, began dance lessons when she was 4 years old, at Macquarie Dancers in Sydney. At age 9 she took a break from dance and pursued figure skating and sailing and returned enthusiastically to dancing when she was 11, with Dance Academy 34 in Launceston. Georgia studies ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical and tap. When not dancing, Georgia enjoys academics, particularly science. Georgia also has a love for drawing and painting and has provided the illustrations for a children’s book.

Gabrielle has been dancing at House of Dance since she was 7 years old. Now 17, Gabrielle studies ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical and is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training program. Gabrielle was honoured to be awarded the 2016 Hobart OBGYN Scholarship at the Southern Tasmanian Dance Eisteddfod. This scholarship provides financial support for study toward a professional career in dance. Outside of dance, Gabrielle is dedicated to her academic studies and her role as Prefect.

Molly, 13, has been dancing since she was 7. Her early training was with Marque Talent Studios in Queensland, before her family relocated to Tasmania when she was 10. Molly now studies ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical and acrobats with House of Dance in Hobart. Outside of her hectic dance schedule, Molly is an active participant in her high school’s academic and extra-curricular activities, having been part of her student representative council and the debating team.

Maisie began dance lessons when she was 4 with Michelle Williams at House of Dance. Now 12, Maisie studies ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop and acrobats. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training programme. Maisie is a participant in the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Programme. Maisie is a keen student and has represented her School at State and National level in academic competitions. Maisie loves to perform and feels at home on the stage.

Lizzie, 17, studies with Michelle Williams at House of Dance, having started dancing lessons when she was 4 at Encore Dance and Musical Theatre School. Lizzie studies ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training program. This year she has also been heavily engaged in creating individual and collaborative choreographic works as part of her college dance program.

Katy, 13, studies with Michelle Williams at House of Dance, having started dancing lessons when she was 4 at Encore Dance and Musical Theatre School. Katy studies ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and lyrical. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training program. Katy is a keen participant in her School's band and plays piano and trombone. She is an avid reader and loves everything Harry Potter.

Elise, 14, has been dancing since she was 6 years old. She studies ballet with Allison Gibson-Snare at Tasmanian Academy of Dance in Launceston. She also studies jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre with Classique Dancentre and tap with Footsteps Dancentre. Outside of dance, Elise is a dedicated academic student and particularly enjoys maths. In 2015 Elise received the Academic Award for Maths at her School. She enjoys drama and singing and loves to cook when she has spare time.

Heath has been dancing since he was 8 years old. Now 12, he studies ballet with the Tasmanian Academy of Dance in Launceston. He also studies jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre with Classique Dancentre and tap with Footsteps Dancentre. Heath is a participant in the Australian Ballet School Interstate/International Training Programme and really looks forward to the male intensive week held annually.Heath is a dedicated academic student and a keen follower of sport.

Jocelyn, 14, studies at House of Dance. Jocelyn’s early dance training was with Sayers Dance Centre and to Kidz-N-Co Talent in Brisbane and later with Encore Dance and Musical Theatre School. Jocelyn now studies ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and lyrical and is a member of the Elite Squad Training Program. She is also a member of her School’s performing arts program dance stream. When not dancing Jocelyn is focused on her academic studies and is a keen athlete.

Emily began dance lessons at House of Dance when she was 10 years old. Now 13, Emily studies ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad. Emily is a participant in the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Programme. Outside of dance Emily is committed to her academic studies. She is also passionate about animals and enjoys caring for her many pets.

Nina, 13, studies at House of Dance, having started dancing lessons when she was 3 at Encore Dance and Musical Theatre School. Nina studies ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training program. Outside of dance Nina is dedicated to her academic studies, particularly languages. Nina is also passionate about drama and singing. She loves animals and enjoys looking after her pet guinea pigs!

Mia is 14yrs old and has been has been dancing with Tasmanian Academy of Dance since she was since 4yrs old. Recently Mia has starting taking lessons in jazz and Broadway. Mia is thrilled to be a high school participant in Launceston College's - Dance Fever 2016. In Mia's spare time she very much enjoys her close friends company.

Georgia has been training with Dance Academy 34 in Launceston since she was 4. She studies ballet, jazz, lyrical, acro, hip hop and Highland. Georgia is also a participant in the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Programme. When not dancing Georgia works hard on her academic studies and she enjoys art and craft! She loves being active, particularly soccer, and also loves to study oboe and piano.

Mary studies at House of Dance. Her early training was with Encore Dance and Theatre School. Now 13, Mary studies ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop and acrobats. She is also a participant in the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate/International Training Programme. When not dancing Mary is focused on her schooling. This also involves dance, as she is part of her School’s performing arts program. Mary also enjoys studying piano.

Selina began dancing with Michelle Williams at House of Dance when she was 4 years old. Now 14, Selina studies ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop. She is also a member of the House of Dance Elite Squad training program. Outside of dancing Selina studies piano and is dedicated to her academic studies. Selina is the recipient of the TYCBC part scholarship for 2016.
